https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/introducing-the-nasa-inspired-underwear-you-wont-have-to-wash-for-weeks_uk_5aeac5f1e4b06748dc8fc20f

Citando:
"A Danish fashion brand has launched a Kickstarter to fund the creation of boxers, socks and t-shirts that it claims you “won’t need to wash for weeks”.

The NASA-inspired garments, created by Organic Basics, are treated with a high-tech silver formula that supposedly kills bacteria and odours, allowing the wearer to feel fresher for longer. The pants are also designed to be breathable, with ventilation in “critical sweat zones” - make of that what you will.

If the thought of day-old pants is enough to make you squirm, perhaps the environmental benefits will change your mind. The products are aimed at the eco-conscious, as less washing means less water waste and less energy usage.,"

http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/706715/fungal-yeast-infection-ringworm-athlete-s-foot-thrush-diet

"There are approximately 200 species of fungi that live on the feet of humans, and many other living on and inside the body, which usually cause no harm.

Nat explained: “However when the immune system is affected or the natural balance of the microbes is upset through diet, medications, chemicals or toxins, fungi can proliferate and cause illnesses and rashes on the skin and under the nails.”"

http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20150828-the-golden-elixir-worth-more-than-gold?ocid=fbcptl
"(...) Molan discovered there was something special about manuka honey. It appears to have antibacterial properties, unlike other honeys in the world, and some studies suggested it could heal wounds and help boost the immune system. (Specifically, the antibacterial property found in other honeys comes from hydrogen peroxide, which is broken down quickly in the body, whereas the non-peroxide form found in manuka honey isn’t.)."

Citando:
"Some bacteria were more susceptible to the impact of triclosan - such as the family Enterobacteriaceae - and others were more resilient like the genus Pseudomonas."
