Uso de opióides durante gravidez...

E sintomas de ressaca nos recém-nascidos (Kratom - suplemento nos EUA):
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/kratom-use-in-pregnancy-withdrawal-symptoms-in-newborns/

Citando:
"A case study of a baby boy exposed to kratom during his mother's pregnancy -- only the second American case reported -- likely signifies a broader trend among pregnant women toward seeking alternatives to opioid painkillerssuch as morphine, heroin and oxycodone (OxyContin), said study author Dr. Whitney Eldridge.

"I think mothers are becoming increasingly aware of the dangers of using prescription and non-prescription opioids during pregnancy," said Eldridge, a neonatologist at Morton Plant Hospital and St. Joseph Women's Hospital, both in Florida."

Idade do pai e saúde da criança?

https://www.bahianoticias.com.br/saude/noticia/21925-estudo-aponta-que-idade-paterna-avancada-afeta-saude-da-mae-e-do-bebe.html

Citando:

https://m.medicalxpress.com/news/2017-04-norwegian-women-pregnant-british.html

Citando:
"It seems like a paradox that older and more highly educated women were more likely to drink during pregnancy, which also confirms prior research on the topic.

This study did not look at the relationship between education and the amount or frequency of drinking during pregnancy.

The study authors speculate whether older, more educated women might be more critical towards guidelines that recommend complete abstinence from alcohol during pregnancy. The authors wonder whether older women are less exposed than younger women to the health campaigns that warn against alcohol use during pregnancy, especially if they drank a little during previous pregnancies and had healthy children.

The study authors believe it is important for national campaigns to target all women of childbearing age:

"There is no defined safe minimum amount of alcohol to drink during pregnancy. We therefore recommend that all pregnant women should adhere to the guidelines for total alcohol abstinence during pregnancy," says Nordeng"

Carência de vitamina A na mãe pode afectar Alzheimer no filho 65 anos depois?

Parece que sim (em ratos):
http://www.mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/health/alzheimers-begin-womb-because-mums-9700947

Alimentos ricos em vitamina A (citação):
"Foods rich in the vitamin include sweet potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, cabbage, carrots, lettuce, grapefuit, mango, watermelon and apricots.
Other good sources are cod liver oil, liver and kidney. Smaller amounts are found in butter, full fat dairy products and margarine, oily fish and eggs."

Citando:
"In experiments on mice, his team found even a mild deficiency of vitamin A boosted production of amyloid beta in the brain.
This is one of the rogue proteins believed to be responsible for dementia by forming plaques that smother and destroy neurons, leading to loss of memory and confusion.
Mice that did not get enough vitamin A in the womb and infancy in the womb and infancy performed worse as adults on a standard test of learning and memory.
The researchers said these early developmental stages are crucial periods during which brain tissue is “programmed” for the rest of a person’s life."

Pesticidas, plásticos e outras substâncias químicas que afectam crianças (desde a gravidez)

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/toxic-chemicals-poison-warning-food-plastic-air-study-a7114226.html

Citando:
"(...) pregnant women had been found to be contaminated with dozens of potentially harmful substances such as organophosphate pesticides, PBDE flame retardants and phthalates found in plastic. "
(...)
“When the [US] federal government banned some uses of OP [organo-phosphate] pesticides, manufacturers responded by expanding the use of neonicotinoid and pyrethroid pesticides,” the paper said.
“Evidence is emerging that these widely used classes of pesticides pose a threat to the developing brain.
“When the US government reached a voluntary agreement with flame retardant manufacturers to stop making PBDEs, the manufacturers substituted other halogenated and organophosphate flame retardant chemicals.
“Many of these replacement flame retardants are similar in structure to other neurotoxic chemicals but have not undergone adequate assessment of their effects on developing brains.
“When the federal government banned some phthalates in children’s products, the chemical industry responded by replacing the banned chemicals with structurally similar new phthalates. These replacements are now under investigation for disrupting the endocrine system.”
