Qual a melhor hora para fazer exercício?

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/food-news/exercise-before-breakfast-to-lose-weight-quickly/articleshow/71648607.cms

Citando:
"The study established that increased fat use is mainly due to lower insulin levels during exercise when people have fasted overnight, which means that they can use more of the fat from their fat tissue and the fat within their muscles as a fuel.

While this did not show any significant weight loss, it has a very positive impact on their health because their bodies were better able to respond to insulin, keeping blood sugar levels under control and potentially lowering the risk of diabetes and heart disease."

Só se engorda pela gordura ingerida?

Não pelos hidratos de carbono (incluindo açúcar) ou proteínas (pelo menos em ratos):

"of the problem is that it is very difficult to do studies on humans where what they eat is controlled for long enough periods to work out what are the most important factors.

But studies on animals that are similar to us can help point in the right direction.

The study, published today in the journal Cell Metabolismand includes 30 different diets that vary in their fat, carbohydrate (sugar) and protein contents.

Professor John Speakman, who led the study, said: “The result of this enormous study was unequivocal – the only thing that made the mice get fat was eating more fat in their diets.

“Carbohydrates including up to 30 per cent of calories coming from sugar had no effect."

Português descobre substância que ajuda a eliminar gordura

Português descobre substância que ajuda a eliminar gordura - Ciência & Saúde - SÁBADO

Citando:

Citando:
"But the bad news is you may have to go easy on the roasties as foods high in carbs are major culprits behind obesity.
The research, by diet experts at the University of Bergen in Norway, studied obese men with a diet high in either carbohydrates or fat and measured the amount of fat in the abdominal region, liver and heart along with a number of key risk factors for heart disease and conditions like diabetes.
“The very high intake of total and saturated fat did not increase the calculated risk of cardiovascular diseases,” says professor and cardiologist Ottar Nygard."

Leite magro faz crianças mais... gordas

Mais um exemplo de contra-senso:

Citando:
"If you don't get fat from someplace, then you take energy from somewhere else, and it may be that children who are receiving reduced fat milk seek foods that are higher in caloric density, and maybe that's why they're a bit bigger," Maguire said in an interview."
(...)
"Childhood obesity in North America has tripled in the past 30 years. At the same time, children's consumption of whole cow's milk has halved over the same period.
Current guidelines from Health Canada and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend two servings of low fat milk (one per cent or two per cent) milk for children over the age of two to reduce the risk of childhood obesity."

"The scientists' analysis of stool samples in a study of more than 3,600 twins found evidence that some of this bacteria is inherited.
Scientists said their findings provide further evidence of possible genetic influences on obesity, through heritable bacteria found in the faecal microbiome."
